Peponi Lamu

Peponi Hotel is an intimate boutique retreat located on the secluded island of Lamu, set in the Indian Ocean off Kenya’s northern coastline.

Over the years, the hotel has naturally expanded to offer 29 rooms, each uniquely designed in décor and layout, and all enjoying beautiful ocean views. Guests can choose between Standard and Superior Rooms. Superior Rooms are distinguished by their prime location, larger size, and private outdoor space complete with a swing bed. All rooms feature en-suite bathrooms, overhead fans positioned within the mosquito nets, and personal safes.

Standard Rooms
These rooms offer ocean views, a private veranda, distinctive Swahili-inspired interiors, en-suite bathrooms, overhead fans within the mosquito nets, and personal safes.

Superior Rooms
Superior Rooms are more spacious and enjoy prime positioning within the property. They include a private outdoor area with a swing bed, stunning ocean views, Swahili-style interiors, en-suite bathrooms, overhead fans inside the mosquito nets, and personal safes.

Family Rooms
Available in both Standard and Superior categories, Family Rooms can accommodate up to four guests. They range from shared-room layouts to two separate bedrooms with a shared bathroom.

Apartments
Peponi offers three apartments: one studio apartment and two larger units featuring two Superior bedrooms, along with a spacious open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area.
