Ngutuni Lodge is a charming rustic safari retreat set within a 10,000-acre private wildlife sanctuary, bordered on three sides by Tsavo East National Park. The lodge enjoys stunning views of a busy waterhole, with the majestic Sagala Hills providing a breathtaking backdrop. It is conveniently located just 15 minutes from the main gate of Tsavo East and about one hour from Tsavo West National Park and Taita Hills.
Beautifully crafted using large timber beams, sweeping thatched roofs, and polished wooden decks, the lodge blends authentic African architecture with modern-day comfort. The nearby waterhole attracts wildlife throughout the day and night. Gentle lighting allows guests to observe animals after dark from the privacy of their balcony, or during the day from the open-plan bar and restaurant deck.
The lodge features 48 well-appointed rooms, all constructed with solid block walls and positioned to face the waterhole and the vast savannah plains of Tsavo. Each room is fully furnished and includes an en-suite bathroom with a shower, one double bed and one single bed, as well as a private balcony offering uninterrupted views of the wilderness.
