LAKE NAIVASHA SOPA LODGE
Description
Set on 150 acres of open grassland scattered with Acacia trees and shrubs along the southern shores of Lake Naivasha, the resort is surrounded by abundant wildlife. Resident giraffes, waterbucks, and both Vervet and Colobus monkeys roam freely within the grounds. In the evenings, hippos emerge from the lake to graze on the expansive lawns.
The lodge is approximately 125 kilometers from Nairobi, just over an hour’s drive via well-paved roads. It sits on the edge of Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake whose size fluctuates depending on rainfall levels.
Room Types
The accommodation consists of 21 crescent-shaped cottages, each built over two floors with two rooms per level, making a total of 82 rooms.
Two of the rooms are specially designed to accommodate guests with disabilities.
Additionally, six of the cottages feature interconnected rooms on the ground floor, ideal for families or groups traveling together.
