Ol Pejeta Conservancy is one of Kenya’s leading wildlife conservancies, home to unique species including members of the Big Five. It is especially renowned for its Southern and Northern white rhinos and offers visitors the opportunity to explore the only chimpanzee sanctuary in East Africa. This day tour allows guests to experience remarkable wildlife and return to Nairobi in the evening.
Proposed Itinerary
You will be picked up early in the morning for a scenic drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy through Kenya’s beautiful countryside. Along the way, enjoy a short stop at the Equator to experience crossing between the Northern and Southern Hemispheres, complete with a brief demonstration.
Upon arrival, you will embark on an exciting game drive across the expansive plains of Ol Pejeta Conservancy, located directly on the Equator. Key highlights include a visit to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary, where chimpanzees rescued from illegal wildlife trade are cared for and rehabilitated. You will also visit Baraka, the blind rhino, with an opportunity to feed and interact with him.
Continue with game viewing throughout the conservancy, where you may spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, and other diverse wildlife. Later, you will drive back to Nairobi and be dropped off at your pickup location, marking the end of the tour.
