4 Days, 3 Nights Mount Kenya Climbing: Sirimon Down Sirimon
Description
The 4-day Sirimon Route is located on the drier side of Mount Kenya, offering some of the most enjoyable and scenic trekking on the mountain. The trail ascends through lush forest before opening up to a broad ridge that leads toward the summit zone. It begins on the northwestern side near Nanyuki Town, where access is convenient and bunkhouse facilities are among the best available on this side of the mountain.
Reaching Lenana Peak can comfortably be achieved within four days of hiking. However, climbers with extra time may choose to add an additional night at Liki North Camp (at an extra cost), situated between Old Moses Camp and Shipton Camp, for better acclimatization and a more relaxed pace.
