Nairobi is the capital and largest city of Kenya, located in the south-central region of the country with an estimated population of about 3.5 million people. It serves as a major economic and cultural hub in East Africa and is recognized for its vibrant markets, beautiful parks, museums, and colonial-era architecture. The city is also home to major international institutions, including the United Nations Environment Programme and the United Nations Office in Nairobi.

Nairobi is a popular tourist destination due to its rich wildlife and natural attractions, such as Nairobi National Park and the Oloolua Nature Trail.

Proposed Itinerary

6:00 AM – Pick up within Nairobi and transfer to Nairobi National Park.

Nairobi National Park
Arrive at the park gate by 7:00 AM for an exciting game drive that lasts until around 10:00 AM. Visitors may spot wildlife such as buffaloes, black rhinos, hippos, gazelles, giraffes, baboons, lions, antelopes, hyenas, and various bird species in their natural habitat.

David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust
At around 10:30 AM, proceed to the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage. The visit begins at 11:00 AM, where orphaned elephants gather for their midday milk feeding, followed by playful mud and dust baths lasting about an hour. The caretakers introduce each elephant and share their rescue stories while explaining the challenges facing wildlife conservation. Entrance contributions support the rescue and rehabilitation of orphaned elephants.

Giraffe Centre
Around noon, head to the Giraffe Centre to interact with and feed the endangered Rothschild giraffes while taking memorable photos.

Afterward, enjoy lunch before returning for drop-off, marking the end of your safari experience.
